Property and Casualty Insurance Representative

Location: Monroe, LA

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $30,000 - $45,000 base salary

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1st Shift)

Job Summary

Staffmark is hiring a Property and Casualty Insurance Representative for a well-established company in Monroe, LA. This role is ideal for individuals with at least one year of relevant experience who are eager to provide top-tier customer service while expanding their career in the insurance industry. The successful candidate will assist clients with policy inquiries, process endorsements, handle claims-related questions, and support sales efforts by offering additional coverage options.

Key Responsibilities



  • Assist customers with policy questions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
  • Provide expert guidance on coverage options, policy terms, and insurance requirements.
  • Process documentation for new policies, modifications, and claims.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, claims adjusters and other insurance professionals to resolve customer concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell insurance products to meet customer needs.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations professionally and efficiently.
  • Conduct cold-call marketing efforts to generate new business.
  • Stay informed on industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.

Qualifications



  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Louisiana Property and Casualty Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Minimum of one year of experience in insurance customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insurance management software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
