Job Description
  • Manages and develops housing staff that are assisting participants within Equitable Social Solutions
  • Provides leadership in developing and implementing solutions for various challenges
  • Understands conducting training and needs assessment
  • Main point of contact for community partners and creating a network of resources for participants to utilize
  • Ensures communication between program and funding customer to keep all parties informed of participant progress and other participant that need to be addressed
  • Attends all required meetings with staff and funding customer as scheduled
  • Assists the Project Director to ensure the program is meeting all contractual goals
  • Ensures regular program of communication, education and support by developing and presenting information to all parties involved in the contract
  • Develops and maintain partnerships with the with organizations to share best practices and explore opportunities to work together for increased effectiveness and efficiency
  • Investigates, troubleshoots, and develops/recommends solutions to inquiries, problems and issues
  • Flexible to work outside of normal business hours for events and/or to meet deadlines
  • Develops strategies to support the program in meeting goals by reviewing community demographics and needs
  • Maintains knowledge of scopes of work, coordinate implementation plans, and monitor goals
  • Submits weekly and monthly outreach program reports as assigned
  • Work closely with prospective property owners/managers within the community to promote permanent opportunities for homeless individuals and families through outreach and education
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university;or at least 3 years of professional experience in an outreach role, preferably with government or community-based organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated strong customer service skills.
  • At least two (2) years supervisory experience
  • Strong outreach skills with a demonstrated ability to thrive in environments with multiple stakeholders, frequent change, and diverse objectives
  • Ability to create buy-in and resource allocation outside direct reports
  • Ability to gather and synthesize information from a wide variety of people and sources
  • Excellent strategic thinking, operations and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to track and interpret quantitative metrics related to programmatic goals
  • Other duties as assigned

Annual Salary: $65,000-$80,000
