As a Senior Sales Executive at Myriad, you will be responsible for leading the commercial expansion within your designated region. Your role will involve managing key relationships, driving sales opportunities, and overseeing the entire product lifecycle. You will work closely with key healthcare professionals, including key opinion leaders, physician groups, insurance payors, and long-term care facilities, while also mentoring junior team members and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, physicians, and healthcare professionals. Lead and manage high-level commercial relationships within your designated region, influencing decision-makers in the healthcare space. Position Myriad's products as the preferred solution by leveraging your industry expertise and fostering strategic partnerships. Business Development and Sales Leadership: Drive new business development efforts by identifying commercial opportunities and generating leads through innovative programs, referrals, and networking. Manage the full sales process for your accounts, including lead generation, proposal development, and contract negotiation. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product management, to refine sales strategies, tailor presentations, and ensure the effective delivery of sales collateral. Market Expansion and Growth: Focus on expanding business in key markets, with a primary focus on outpatient practices, local insurance payors, physician groups, and long-term care facilities. Monitor and analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth. Attend and represent the company at key local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events to further strengthen market presence. Team Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales staff, sharing your expertise in sales strategies, relationship-building, and account management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operational efforts, contributing to the development of customer-centric solutions. Product and Industry Expertise: Stay current on personalized medicine trends, advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure Myriad remains at the cutting edge of healthcare innovation. Actively participate in internal training and development initiatives to refine sales strategies, product knowledge, and client engagement techniques. Administrative and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and performance metrics in Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred. Preferably 5 years of experience in medical sales or more. A proven track record in the healthcare, biotech, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals industry preferred. Experience managing large accounts and complex sales cycles, with a demonstrated ability to lead and close deals preferred Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, coaching, problem-solving, and facilitation abilities. Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, with the ability to analyze and report on sales data. Strong understanding of HIPAA laws, patient privacy regulations, and the healthcare industry preferred. Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently, with minimal supervision. Ability to travel as required (valid driver's license required). Physical Requirements Lifting Requirements - sedentary to light work or exerting 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently. Physical Requirements - stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. Use of equipment and tools necessary to perform essential job functions. OSHA category III - normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue and as part of the employment, will not be called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.
