Senior Manager, Business Planning

San Mateo, CA (Collab)/Remote

We are seeking adynamic leader to join the Platform Business Strategy team. This team is responsible for driving transparent, collaborative & speedy strategy development & alignment across the Platform Business portfolio and serving as a multiplier to stakeholders.

In this role, you will be supporting team leadership by identifying evolving opportunities of the Platform Business and bringing stakeholders together across functions for strategy development & alignment. You will be responsible for driving efforts, while operating independently with senior stakeholders and managing relationships, deliverables, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities



  • Identify & structure efforts to pursue opportunities and address complex business problems.
  • Frame complex problems; identify and solicit the appropriate set of required external/internal inputs, perspectives and analyses.
  • Drive key analyses with a long & broad gaming/entertainment lens, and collaboratively with internal/external partners.
  • Structure & facilitate strategy discussions/workshops to drive informed decisions on high impact strategic efforts, including commitment to resource & support needs, contingencies, risks and mitigations.
  • Enforce & manage feedback loops with collaborators & stakeholders; iterate as informed by action.
  • Additional ad hoc per team leadership.


Qualifications



  • 10+ years of gaming or tech focused strategy roles, or relevant experience in management consulting, investment banking, or related professional service fields.
  • Deep understanding of the PlayStation experience, our player and creator community needs, and market forces shaping the future of gaming & entertainment.
  • Proven leadership managing high impact, cross-functional strategic efforts, diverse teams, and senior executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Outstanding executive-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with data driven approach combined with robust judgment and objectivity.
  • Working with resilience under pressure, including from senior stakeholders.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

In addition, this role

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$194,100 $291,100 USD
