Job Summary:
As the Regional Human Resources Manager, you will have the opportunity to drive change by providing expertise in the various areas of HR. You will work closely with the Regional Manager of Operations and the Corporate HR team to further enhance our culture, values, people programs, and overall employee experience.
The Regional Human Resources Business Partner executes the planning, coordination, facilitation, and oversight of HR activities for 7 non-union and union production facilities in Edmonton, Montreal, Nanaimo, Quebec City, Saskatoon, Toronto, and Vancouver. This position supports a workforce of approximately 1,000 employees.

Compensation:
- Annual salary of $125,000 CAD
- Bonus eligibility with a target of 15% of base salary.

Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain successful working relationships in order to influence leaders and provide effective HR support and advice.
- Develop branch HR competency by training, advising, and consulting with branch HR, office managers and line managers.
- Manage and implement a variety of human resources strategies at the plant and sales regions, balancing business partner and corporate HR initiatives.
- Engage leadership in understanding HR initiatives, policies, procedures and processes.
- Know and understand talent at all levels and recommend and implement succession and development strategies.
- Promote and maintain optimal labor / management relations.
Qualifications:
- Prior multi-location / multi-province experience.
- Union/labour relations experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- At least 7 years HR generalist experience.
- Solid computer skills including MS Office. Experience with UKG Pro preferred.
- Experienced in legal compliance with various laws and regulations. Must demonstrate a mastery of province-specific employment and labour laws within the region.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- French language skills are required for candidates residing in Quebec and strongly preferred for supporting Quebec-based operations. For candidates residing in Ontario, French is an asset but not required.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- HR certification preferred.
Office Location:
- Successful candidate must reside in the metro area of Toronto or Montreal and have a suitable home workspace. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the province they reside in.
Travel Requirements:
- Regular travel throughout the region is required and is estimated at 30-40%.
Typical Environmental Conditions:
- Office and remote work at industrial laundry facilities.
- Working in and out of branch locations.
- Operating vehicles on public roads.
Physical Requirements:
- Physical Demands/Requirements - sitting, grasping, driving, stooping, lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, writing, speaking, hearing.

Responsabilites Principaux:
- Developper et maintenir des relations de travail solides afin d'influencer les dirigeants et fournir un soutien et des conseils RH efficaces.
- Renforcer les competences RH des succursales en formant, conseillant et accompagnant les gestionnaires RH, les responsables administratifs et les gestionnaires d'equipe.
- Gerer et mettre en uvre diverses strategies en ressources humaines, en equilibrant les initiatives des partenaires d'affaires et celles des RH corporatives.
- Accompagner les dirigeants dans la comprehension des initiatives, des politiques et des processus RH.
- Assurer une connaissance approfondie des talents a tous les niveaux et recommander des strategies de succession et de developpement.
- Favoriser et maintenir des relations optimales entre la direction et les employes.
Qualifications:
- Experience prealable dans un poste multisites / multi-provinces.
- Experience en relations de travail avec des syndicats.
- Excellentes competences en communication orale et ecrite et en presentation.
- Minimum de 7 ans d'experience en tant que generaliste RH.
- Solides competences en informatique, y compris MS Office. Experience avec UKG Pro un atout.
- Maitrise des lois et reglementations provinciales en matiere d'emploi et de travail.
- Maitrise du francais requise pour les candidats residant au Quebec. Pour les candidats bases en Ontario, la connaissance du francais est un atout, mais non obligatoire.
Formation:
- Baccalaureat en ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe (maitrise preferable).
- Certification RH preferable.
Lieu de travail:
- Le candidat retenu doit resider dans la region metropolitaine de Montreal et disposer d'un espace de travail a domicile adequat.
- Les candidats doivent etre legalement autorises a travailler dans la province ou ils resident.
Exigences en matiere de deplacements:
- Des deplacements reguliers dans toute la region sont necessaires et (sont estimes a 30-40 %)
Conditions environnementales typiques:
- Travail en bureau et a distance dans des installations industrielles de la buanderie.
- Deplacements frequents entre differentes succursales.
- Conduite d'un vehicule sur la voie publique.
