The Position
The Opportunity We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Scientist 3 to join the Department of Antibody Engineering in Genentech Research and Development (gRED), where we develop transformative antibody drugs through pioneering science and technology. This individual will contribute to biologics portfolio projects by discovering and engineering next-generation antibody-based therapeutic molecules. Additionally, this individual will work on technology projects to evaluate and implement innovative technologies aimed at enhancing our antibody discovery and engineering workflows. The role involves designing and conducting hands-on laboratory experiments for the discovery, engineering, and characterization of antibodies, as well as analyzing and interpreting data to guide project decisions. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $101,200 - $188,200. Annual Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
