Senior Consultant, Data Scientist

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Senior Consultant, Data Scientist to report to headquarters in Dallas, Texas. This is a 100% remote position that may be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Coordinate all aspects of development and maintenance of the analytics platforms. Identify trends and problems through complex big data analysis. Design, develop and implement valuable business solutions. Work on projects and matters of various complexity under supervision. Design, configure and maintain analytics platform in the Cloud or on client's premises to provide world-class analytics solutions. Create data models and develop databases to support business solutions. Train, optimize and validate machine learning models to enhance model capabilities, ensure models produce high-quality outputs consistently. Automate reports, dashboards, and other performance tools. Develop and maintain a testing framework to test strategy efficacy and outcomes. Establish rigorous evaluation protocols and methodologies to assess process performance and ensure world class data pipelines quality. Uphold high standards of security in the development and monitor of client data and create comprehensive documentation for stakeholders. Work with Analytics team to understand client analytics needs, IT systems, and existing data sets to assist in the design of a process to extract, transform, load, and prepare data for analytics and reporting to satisfy those needs.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related field of study. Foreign degree equivalent accepted. Position requires two (2) years of experience in a data science or analytics -related position. Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following: Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, and/or programming languages (ex: Java/Python, SAS);and MS SQL and/or Microsoft Azure Platform; Position also requires four (4) months of experience in the following: Developing custom big data solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure SQL DW, Azure Data Factory, and SQL Server; and Utilizing wide range of predictive modeling techniques and statistical analysis (i.e. Regression, Clustering, Classification) to draw insights from large data sets.

Salary: $119,000.00 to $129,000.00 per year
