The FP&A Senior Manager will lead the Executive Reporting and Expense Management team within the Sales and Corporate Finance Office, providing strategic oversight and driving impactful financial insights. This role is responsible for consolidating and managing CAI Sales and Marketing expenses, conducting Sales ROI analytics, and delivering executive reporting to senior leadership. Additionally, the Senior Manager will oversee commission reporting and analytics, ensuring accuracy and providing meaningful insights into sales compensation. Success in this role requires strong collaboration across Finance and Accounting to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and process efficiencies. The Senior Manager will also manage a Financial Analyst, offering coaching and development to ensure high-quality deliverables and effective workload management. Proactively identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve client service will be essential in driving greater business impact.

PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a Financial Analyst, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and excellence.
  • Drive thought leadership and best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity across financial processes. Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to support high-profile business decisions.
  • Consolidate and manage CAI Sales and Marketing expenses, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and reporting to support financial decision-making.
  • Maintain and evolve the Sales ROI model to provide meaningful insights into the effectiveness of sales investments and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the creation, review, and audit of executive decks used for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer and other senior leaders.
  • Lead commission reporting and analytics, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely insights into sales compensation trends and financial impact.
  • Review accounting entries for commission month-end accruals and reversals, monitoring results for accuracy and ongoing trends. Maintain the waterfall schedules used to forecast the deferred commissions.
  • Work with the Financial Analyst to ensure accurate rebate processing and reporting.
  • Provide weekly revenue forecast updates for executive-level review.
  • Collaborate with BU FP&A leads to monitor monthly activity, analyze budget variances across Sales and Marketing, and consolidate findings at the company level to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver consolidated risk and opportunity assessments for current-month and full-year financial projections.
  • Build, sustain, and leverage relationships with key business partners across Finance and Accounting.
  • Complete special projects and ad hoc requests with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring quick turnaround times.


Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Finance/Accounting function.
  • 5+ years of experience working within a like analytical financial environment to include financial strategy, project management, process improvement, business performance management and/or corporate strategy.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a management or lead role.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment for interpreting financial data.
  • Motivated, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work on a team.
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is a must.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask successfully.
  • Extensive experience with the MS Office Suite, specifically with Excel in the automation of reporting to include building macros and managing large/imperfect data sets.
  • Other duties as needed or required.
  • Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes in order to meet business requirements.


USD 108,800.00 - 181,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $108,800.00 - $181,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
