We're seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join our Healthcare Information Management team as a Healthcare Records Intern!

You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and accessible patient medical records.

What Will You Do?

  • Data Entry: Accurately input patient information into our electronic health records (EHR) from various sources, ensuring data integrity and compliance with HIPPA regulations.

  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as scanning and filing documents.

What's Available?

  • Internship Duration: 6 months from your start date - Ideally April 2025-October 2025

  • Hours: Ideally looking for someone to work 30-40 hours per week

  • Schedule: Mandatory weekends, Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:30pm at our Main Campus in La Crosse. Other hours can be worked Monday-Friday between 8:00am-4:30pm at our Support Services Building in Onalaska, WI.

What Do You Need?

  • Currently in or graduated from an Associate's, Bachelors Program focused in healthcare or health information management or a related field

  • Strong computer skills

  • Epic knowledge is preferred but not required

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
