Responsibilities Job Summary The Hospitalist Team Coordinator provides highly knowledgeable and skilled administrative support to hospitalist physicians and various hospitalist team staff. Acts as a liaison with the Hospitalist Medical Director on specific projects designed to improve the hospitalist program which may come from the Hospitalist Medical Director, other hospitalists, administration, or other hospital staff. Required to manage their own duties and functions independently, maintaining a high quality for detail, timeliness and must maintain the integrity of highly confidential information. This position requires critical thinking skills and the constant exercise of a high degree of independent judgment in response to complex sensitive issues, interpersonal communication skills, decision-making, discretion and troubleshooting. Must accomplish assignments in an accurate and timely manner to ensure efficient operations of the administrative functions.
Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED Required Experience 1 year of administrative experience in an office or healthcare setting Required |
