About the Callaway Energy Center

The Callaway Energy Center is a nuclear facility located in mid-Missouri. The Energy Center has more than 800 employees and contractors working at the facility, and it has established a strong record of safe operation throughout its 30-year operating history. The Energy Center is a highly efficient, low-cost, sustainable source of electricity for Ameren Missouri's 1.2 million customers.

DUTIES: Under indirect and intermittent supervision, in work requiring the exercise of independent judgment and responsibility; perform a wide variety of moderately complex administrative responsibilities supporting Ameren Missouri Nuclear Operations in accordance with Company practices and procedures, including but not limited to the following: Compile, input, arrange, scan and edit data; make computations, prepare reports, correspondence, process documents, maintain comprehensive records, file. Respond to customer (both internal and external) inquiries. Serve in a capacity to handle and appropriately resolve escalated situations in a respectful and businesslike manner. Process Company funds when required. Utilize different types of maps to obtain information related to job duties. Process and validate documentation and information related to construction, substation, and service jobs. Assist in processing of work orders and material requisitions. Provide administrative support for field, engineering, estimating, drafting, training and other personnel. Serve as Records Custodian by maintaining a wide variety of manual and electronic documents, files and records. Administer the Records Management Policy and Procedure for the corporate records program. Adhere to respective regulations and applicable procedures for the nuclear records program. Research information as required. Provide administrative support in training administration as directed. Process invoices and route accordingly. Manage office supplies, inventories and equipment as assigned. Provide input and assist in the development of procedures, processes and methods. Support supervision and other personnel in various job duties using problem-solving skills and independent judgment. Perform/participate in special projects as assigned and handle special situations which may arise. Perform all related work as required.

SPECIAL RESPONSIBLITIES: Utilize appropriate software and systems in performance of job duties, such as, but not limited to Microsoft Office or other corporate software and web-based programs. For holding as confidential information obtained in connection with duties and relating to Company's business or personnel, as per the Corporate Compliance Policy and supervisory instruction. Utilization of office equipment in the performance of job duties. Ability to work in team environment. Ability to adapt to changes in systems, applications and procedures. Adhere to strict deadlines.

CONTACTS: With personnel at all levels of the organization, in addition to non-employees (vendors, customers, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Associate's degree from an accredited college, university or junior college or three years of related experience. Must pass EEI SASS Basic Clerical Aptitude Battery (BCAB) and the SASS Data Entry.
