Are you ready to make an impact with your maintenance expertise? Advantage xPO has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bethesda, MD. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for general facility maintenance and repair, ensuring high-quality service and operations.

Pay: $25 - $29 per hour

2nd Shift: Sunday - Thursday (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)

In this role, you will support the 2nd shift Lead by ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining a professional work environment. You'll communicate service needs with the Site Lead, supervise and coordinate client sub-contractors, and handle repairs such as fixing walls, floors, doors, and performing touch-up painting. Additionally, you'll maintain and repair plumbing systems, including unclogging toilets and replacing valves, and oversee air handling equipment like vent and circulation fans. Preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including changing filters and cleaning coils, is also part of the job, along with general repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. You'll monitor building automation systems to ensure proper operation and temperature conditions, and maintain organized maintenance records and reports.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational school preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in facility maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, electrical).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety manuals and work orders.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with general repairs, including walls, floors, doors, and air handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and kneel frequently.
  • Skilled in maintaining records and using basic computer systems.
  • Ability to work in noisy, high, or confined areas, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
