About The Position
The Senior Quality Assurance Consultant ensures Ameren Missouri Electric Operations is committed to excellence in meeting or exceeding the requirements of State and Federal Safety Regulations, Electric Construction Standards, Electric Policies, Electric Operations Field Reference Guide and Safety Manual.

Key responsibilities include:
* Perform field assessments to support Electric Operations in compliance with the Operating and Maintenance Plan and State and Federal Safety Regulations. Coach coworkers to improve quality of Operations.
* Document, summarize and present findings to division leadership. Partner with division leadership to develop immediate corrective action plans for identified issues.
* Assist Operations in taking active responsibility for corrective action plan implementation and completion.
* Analyze trends in deficiencies observed and coordinate with Electric Training and Compliance to make improvements related training and operator qualification.
* Assist in the review and distribution of QA field reports to proper stakeholders.
* Perform focused field inspections on both company and contractor personnel to ensure quality of compliance related activities and operator qualification covered tasks. Such inspections will require the use of related gas equipment.
* Support Electric Operations by reviewing compliance records, both manually prepared and electronic and provide solutions to improve quality of records.
* Support Electric Operations by insuring proper use of new tools and/or material introduced and execution of new policies/procedures.
* Work together as team with Electric Operations during field and record assessments to promote positive results. Assist in responding to issues identified/notices of probably violation.
* Provide 24 hour coverage for emergency/incident investigation and response. Assist in the investigation of potential incidents and conduct emergency response reviews with Division Operations.
* Support and oversee staff during outage situations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline required. Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred. Ten or more years of relevant experience in electric operations, engineering, energy delivery design or training. Completion of a relevant technical trade program may be considered in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent and two additional years (in addition to the above listed 10) in electric operations may be considered in lieu of degree.

In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:

Comprehensive knowledge of National Electric Safety Code (NESC), state and federal safety regulations, Ameren electric standards, and Energy Delivery/Operations processes is a must. Working knowledge of OAS, MAXIMO, Microsoft Office is required. Demonstrated leadership, administrative, and human relations skills required. Proven ability to read construction drawings is required. Ability to communicate effectively is required. Ability to perform work in a confidential manner is required. Strong working knowledge of the Ameren Operating and Maintenance processes preferred.

Compensation Range:

$108,400.00 - $168,000.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
