Summary:

The Electrophysiology Laboratory Technologist I role is responsible for scrubbing and assisting in the performance of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures using hemodynamic monitoring equipment; evaluating patients' hemodynamic status, electrograms, and vital signs; and managing the digital image during the procedure.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of School of Cardiovascular Technology or School of Radiologic Technology or advanced, comprehensive program of Cardiaovascular specialization required.
  2. License/Certifications: For Radiologic Technologists: current applicable state(s) certification as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  3. Experience: Electrophysiology experience preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/A
