Department's Website: This position supports the development and implementation of the U of A's and Fulbright College's recruitment strategy, represents the institution and college, trains staff to be effective recruiters, works with and presents to students and families on the UARK and the college admissions process, travels and participates in recruiting events, evaluates and analyzes data from travel and event reports to make decisions and recommendations for upcoming travel and recruitment goals, coordinates participation for events, collaborates with departments, and manages prospective student communications. The Assistant Director of Recruitment will develop specific strategies that engage students interested in the humanities and/or fine arts utilizing market research and ongoing trend analysis to set goals and monitor progress. The position will develop strategic partnerships with school officials, alumni, parents and the community. The Assistant Director will also lead a team of student workers and manage student ambassador program, assist with developing and hosting summer camps and campus preview days, engage with the community, conduct on-campus tours, and assist in the development of marketing and branding campaigns. Must have strong communications skills both verbal and written. This position requires frequent travel either by vehicle and/or travel by air. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
