Simulation Technician

This position would supplement our current staff by providing additional assistance with simulation courses and related task. This additional assistance would enable our Critical Care Simulation Education Specialist to expand their capacity to take on more request from departments throughout the organization and to allow time to focus on building and implementing curriculum. Redirecting task (such as cleaning mannequins, setting up rooms, cleaning up rooms, restocking, and monitoring supplies) that do not take a Critical Care Simulation Education Specialist to accomplish is a better us of our resources and will better meet the needs of the organization.

Performs as a member of the Simulation healthcare education team in preparing for, delivering, and resetting healthcare simulations. Responsible for integrating, maintaining, and operation the computer and audio/video technology including the manikin and surrounding equipment.
• Assist with the general operational function of the Simulation Lab.
• Participates in unit, department, and organizational activities, including QI initiatives.

• HS diploma or equivalent and No Experience necessary / On-the-Job Training An individual in this position will be a vital member of the team in assisting with processes and workflow of the Simulation Department. Must have the aptitude to learn, operate software, and hardware. On the job training. or

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $17.67/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children's Mercy locations and may not work from home.
