Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation. Assists with kitchen organization, trash disposal, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment to support kitchen staff and maintain smooth operations.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintains an adequate supply of clean dishes, silverware and utensils.
  • Operates industrial dish machine according to protocol.
  • Delivers sanitized plates and silverware to various locations as needed.
  • Maintains a clean work area throughout entire shift.
  • Cleans machine during each shift, including exterior of machine.
  • Collects dirty dishes and equipment from outlets and delivers to main sanitization room for sanitizing.
  • Assists with the busing and cleaning of various units in the Student Union.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to transport and/or move a maximum of 40lbs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or high school diploma equivalency is required.
  • In this position, you may be required to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience operating commercial food service equipment, Vocational or technical training- field of study: floor care
