Summary:

The CI Exercise Physiologist role is responsible for exercise and health coordination needs of all Cardiac, Pulmonary, Vascular and Medical Exercise participants. This role is responsible for cardiac monitoring, assessing exercise tolerance and needs, development of exercise prescription and ongoing exercise and health plan. Provides health promotion and education to participants within the scope of their profession and is accountable for achieving optimal outcomes in the specialty programs.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology required. Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: ASCM, NASM, AACVPR Certification preferred. Current BLS and ACLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: N/A
