Occupancy Planning Lead

What this job involves:

As an Occupancy Planning & Management Manager, you'll lead the delivery of JLL's best practices, products, solutions, and tools to real estate clients. You'll serve as an account leader, bringing industry insights and thought leadership while acting as a trusted advisor to clients, the Account Director, and your team. This role requires excellent relationship-building skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage spaces effectively while providing accurate reporting and analysis.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Fostering critical relationships with various stakeholders and ensuring collaboration among JLL businesses

  • Managing and optimizing client portfolios and space utilization

  • Reviewing, preparing, and updating project status reports on seat demand and inventory

  • Creating accurate planning reports to support Corporate Real Estate decision-making

  • Leading and mentoring a team, providing training as needed

  • Developing and implementing innovative solutions for client challenges

  • Presenting complex ideas and data to clients at all leadership levels

  • Overseeing the creation of migration plans and move coordination

Desired experience and technical skills:

Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, cell calculations)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making

  • Project management experience

  • Ability to understand and interpret floor plans

Preferred:

  • Experience in occupancy planning and management

  • Knowledge of corporate real estate industry trends and best practices

  • Understanding of space utilization metrics and reporting

  • Experience with creating and delivering executive-level presentations

  • Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS software

  • Background in real estate, facilities management, or a related field

Estimated total compensation for this position:

120,363.00 - 150,454.55 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
