Job Description
Functional Overview: The mission of our Legal & Corporate Affairs function is to support the Company's enterprise strategy by preventing, mitigating, and managing legal, regulatory, and reputational risk in an efficient and practical manner. We also look for opportunities to facilitate the Company's business priorities and strengthen our competitive advantage. Key focus areas include: regulatory compliance, contracts, marketing and advertising, intellectual property, ethics and compliance, litigation, labor and employment, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, global security, and government and external affairs. Job Description: The purpose of this role is to provide strategic legal advice regarding food laws and regulation in support of the company's business objectives, including applying expert legal analysis to ensure compliance with global food laws and regulations, engagement with policy makers to shape food laws and regulations, and develop strategic plans to advance the company's regulatory compliance programs. This role will be based in Washington, D.C., driving engagement with U.S. federal regulatory authorities and coordination on food policy issues, in partnership with our government affairs team. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $169700.00 - $283000.00 / Annually.
