Reporting to the Quality Manager, works from broad guidelines and objectives. provides quality engineering services to cross-functional project teams which include New Product Development, Product Support, and Value Engineering. Project team members are led by a Project Leader and include Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing. Primary duties are to lead and direct the advanced quality and reliability activities of project teams to successfully meet Project Quality/Reliability Objectives as well as project goals including Supplier Development, Time-To-Market, Cost, and Performance. The primary duty of this position is to serve as a Quality & Reliability expert to the business and projects teams, with moderate supervision. Should be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving & critical thinking skills and show proactiveness in executing deliverables. Quality Engineering Responsibilities (60%)
