What We DoWorking with business departments, drive process improvement through seeking out and identifying opportunities and business process definition by defining and documenting processes and procedures. Assess and document training needs, communicate existence of new process. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Oversee projects and daily transactions for business departments and/or act as a liaison/strategic partner between First American and vendors, title agents, attorneys, and other FA divisions to define business processes and/or generate, update and create various products and services. When new processes are identified, may drive implementation or hand off to Project Management Team for implementation. Works in partnership with other Business Analysts to gather information and complete assignments.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Gathers information and data on business process and procedures.
  • Provide direction and feedback to internal partners in support of standard operating procedures, including exception handling.
  • Engaged in global team partnership to ensure inbound/outbound functions and processes are correct, timely, and efficient.
  • Receives/identifies problem or process, researches alternatives, contributes to presentations, tests to confirm, and participates in implementing solutions for defined business processes.
  • Identify daily needs of clients and provide workable solutions in a white-glove manner ensuring quality work through effective communication, work skill, and problem-solving.
  • Works with business partners to create documentation of business processes, training procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Generates standard reports. Reviews and audits information.
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • Typically requires BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically less than one year of directly related experience

Pay Range: $23.82 - $31.77

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location
