POSITION SUMMARY:

Lead Therapist at Austin Oaks Hospital plays a crucial role in providing psychotherapy and clinical case management to patients and their families, and assists Director of Clinical Services with training and overight of clinical staff. and contributing to the effective leadership and communication within the organization. This role requires strong clinical skills, leadership abilities, and the capacity to work in a collaborative and supportive manner within the healthcare team. This position would cover in Director's absence.


Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION:

Licensed by the State of Texas in Social Work, Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy

LMSW (currently in LCSW supervision), LPC-A or LMFT-A-required

LCSW, LPC or LMFT-preferred

EXPERIENCE:

One to three years work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect.
