Position Summary

The
Division of Enrollment Management is dedicated to serving incoming, current,
and alumni students, along with parents, through coordinated efforts between Admissions,
Financial Aid, Scholarships, Records and Registration
, and other support
organizations.

Our
mission is to support students' success at every stage of their academic
journey. Through exceptional customer service and seamless communication, we
strive to create a welcoming and customer service friendly environment for all
students and families by fostering collaboration between departments to ensure
students receive the guidance and resources they need to achieve their academic
goals.

We are
looking for an energetic and personable student to join our Contact
Center operations team
. In this role, you will assist students and
customers through inbound calls, live chat, and instant messaging,
providing timely and accurate guidance with the highest levels of customer
service.

This
position offers valuable insight into the critical services and operations that
contribute to student success and retention at the University. You will receive comprehensive training on various platforms, including Banner,
OnBase, Oracle RightNow (live chat), and other technologies
to effectively
assist students.

Eligibility
Requirements:

  • Must be achieving Satisfactory Academic Progress
  • Must be receiving Federal or State Work-Study funding for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 aid years

Work
Schedule:

  • 12-16 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters.
  • Availability of working over the summer and winter break is preferred.

This
is an excellent opportunity to develop customer service, communication, and problem-solving

while making a meaningful impact on student success.

Customer Service Experience - The ideal
candidate will have prior experience in customer service roles and demonstrate
a proven track record of success in delivering excellent customer support. They
should bring a positive and professional attitude, adding value to both
customer interactions and team collaboration. A strong commitment to teamwork,
problem-solving, and enhancing the overall customer experience is essential.

Interpersonal Skills & Communication Skills - Posses strong active listening, clear communication, empathy, adaptability,
conflict resolution, and the ability to think quickly to provide effective
solutions while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Willingness to Learn - Candidates
should demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and embrace new skills and
best practices. Adaptability and a commitment to continuous growth are highly
valued.

Effective Time Management -
Candidates must have strong time management skills, be dependable, and
effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Proficiency -
Candidates should be comfortable using computers and various software programs
to perform job-related tasks efficiently.
