  • Become familiar with lifestyle benefits, medical benefits, employee relief fund, leaves and disability and their business goals, objectives and needs
  • Support the lifestyle benefits and wellness plans and vendors
  • Support Total Rewards team events:
    • Assist with set-up and breakdown
    • Coordinate volunteers and provide onsite assistance
    • Coordinate materials and facilitate communications with vendor partners
    • Support communications and promotional efforts
    • Events may include the Cox 5K, Open Enrollment Fairs, Field Expos, Biometric Screenings, Vaccine Clinics, Wellness Wednesdays and more
  • Organize and perform audit of our employee discount programs
  • Manipulate and interpret data using Excel; use data to support recommendations and reporting for our plans and programs
  • Develop, review and/or update marketing materials, presentations and employee communications
  • Opportunity to develop and deliver benefit presentations to employees
  • Assist and support fellow team members by partnering on various reporting, analysis, projects, and campaigns
  • May perform additional projects upon request
  • Requirements:
  • Enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (ex. Health Sciences & Wellness, Public Health, Public Relations, Sports or Business Administration/Management, or a related field)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering presentations
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Solid critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Event planning or project management experience and a passion for health and wellness is a plus
  • Available to work full time Monday-Friday.

Intern/Co-Op sessions are considered temporary employment. No full-time employment commitments are made. However, depending on our business needs, some interns may be considered for a full-time position following the conclusion of the session conditioned upon the intern graduating from their academic program and being available to commence full-time employment at a specified time.

USD 21.49 - 32.26 per hour

Compensation:

Hourly base pay rate is $21.49 - $32.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
