Cox Enterprises is currently looking for an Enterprise Executive Development Senior Manager to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia .

The Role:

Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Executive Development, the Enterprise Executive Development Senior Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of our executive development strategy. This leader takes a consultative approach in partnering with the business, learning technology, and cross-divisional leadership and learning leaders, to direct and support enterprise executive development solutions that drive business strategies.

Responsibilities:

Program Planning and Design

  • Monitor executive development trends to integrate cutting-edge advancements and maintain program relevance and effectiveness.
  • Engage with key stakeholders and business partners to create training plans, curriculum, and materials to address specific capability gaps at the executive level.
  • Innovate program sessions, workshops, and discussions to deliver transformative learning experiences.
  • Partner with internal and external learning and development experts on delivery approach and modality.


Program Operations and Execution

  • Build detailed program management plans that align with overarching program objectives and participant needs, ensuring a cohesive and impactful learning journey.
  • Drive day-to-day and long-term program operations to ensure sustained success and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Proactively monitor program progress, track key milestones, and address any issues or bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery and achievement of program objectives.
  • Facilitate program sessions, workshops, and discussions to ensure active participation and effective learning experiences.
  • Oversee logistics for program sessions and events, including venue selection, scheduling, materials preparation, and participant communications.
  • Manage relationships across internal teams and external vendors for the design, delivery, and implementation of development programs that resonate with Cox executives.


Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

  • Serve as primary point of contact for program participants, facilitators, internal teams, and external partners, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, updates, and feedback sessions with key stakeholders and participants to gather insights, address concerns, and drive program improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for program participants, promoting networking, peer learning, and knowledge sharing.


Financial Management and Vendor Relations

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program budgets, tracking expenses and forecasting financial needs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Partner with supply chain to negotiate contracts and service agreements with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, review financial reports, and manage timely payments to vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile budgetary discrepancies, track spending variances, and maintain financial records for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and internal teams to procure necessary resources, materials, and services for program activities.


Program Evaluation and Reporting

  • Lead and implement robust program measurement and evaluation strategies, including surveys, assessments, focus groups and other feedback loops to measure program impact, participant satisfaction, and learning outcomes.
  • Analyze program data and trends to generate insights, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations for program enhancements.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing program performance, key metrics, and actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline (i.e., Business Administration, Human Resources or Organizational Developments) and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ability to manage multiple programs with overlapping deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively, especially with senior audiences.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and deliver proactively in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytic and diagnostic skills with a data-driven and metrics-driven approach.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and strong knowledge of project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project), data analysis tools, and reporting platforms.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ability to manage multiple programs with overlapping deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in program or project management roles in a learning and development context.
  • Deep understanding of, and experience applying, best practices to corporate learning and leadership development.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations, developing communications, and communicating to cross-functional audiences.
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and vendor contracts.


USD 108,800.00 - 181,400.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $108,800.00 - $181,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
