Your Role

We are seeking a Communications/Presentation Designer who is passionate about creating visually compelling and inspiring presentations for the leaders of our firm. This role is a part of our global marketing and brand communications studio, reporting to our creative director, and will be focused on designing visually engaging and on-brand content for Gensler's Global Co-Chairs and Co-CEOs, in partnership with our executive communications team. Examples of deliverables include slide presentations for live events, internal communications graphics, organizational infographics, process diagrams, and other digital and print collateral. This role is highly collaborative while also being adept at self-managing projects from initial concept to final delivery. This role will be located in our Los Angeles office.

What You Will Do

• Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to create and deliver high-impact presentations that are on-brand and visually inspiring.

• Lead the conceptualization and design development of presentation slides for virtual and live events, including design and development of the format, messaging hierarchy, and corresponding visuals (datasheets, industry reports, infographics, and product visualizations).

• Provide ad hoc graphics support for other leaders' internal presentations and special projects, as needed.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in best-in-class presentation design with technical mastery in the Adobe Suite and Power Point, as well as introducing innovative ideas, new creative approaches and tools, and introducing AI capabilities.

Your Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience in presentation design, graphic design, or a similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing past work.

• Ability to tell stories through design by transforming abstract ideas into visual narratives that resonate with the audience

• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), PowerPoint and other related tools (like Google Slides, Keynote, Figma, Miro).

• Deep understanding of brand identity and visual communication principles with ability to adapt and implement brand guidelines across various mediums.

• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques, including AI to streamline design process

• Experience working effectively with executive leaders within an organization.

• Proficient in managing multiple tasks with varied deadlines; a self-starter who can keep projects moving.

• Ability to animate slide presentations and add motion graphics or video to slides

• Working knowledge of HTML and Java Script.

• Video editing experience is a plus.
