Location: University of Oklahoma Medical Center Shift: Multiple Shifts and Service Lines available The core purpose of the Department of Surgery is to improve the surgical care of patients in Oklahoma. This is accomplished by providing state of the art care to our patients, providing the finest quality surgical education to our fellows, residents, and students, improving the skills and knowledge of our surgical colleagues through continuing education programs, and expanding surgical knowledge through our clinical and basic science research programs.We have open positions in multiple services lines including Trauma, Cardiovascular, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, Robotics, Women's and General Surgery. General Description: Under immediate supervision, responsible for a variety of duties in support of the Surgical Suites. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. General Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications: Education: None. Experience: Healthcare experience preferred. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to perform tasks in accordance with established policies, procedures and regulations. Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques. Good communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with hospital staff and patients. Ability to function effectively as a member of a team.
