Responsibilities
About Temecula Valley Hospital Staffing Coordinator The Staffing Coordinator will coordinate and integrate inter/intra departmental communications and services. They will maintain a good rapport with inter/intra departmental staff. The Staffing Coordinator will also maintain an open system of communication with each Manager/Director to support their goals and philosophies within their department. Essential Job Duties: Accurately maintains daily/master schedule records of nursing personnel utilizing StaffHound; accurately and efficiently answers help desk calls and dispatches applicable parties (i.e. EVS, chaplain services, pharmacy, volunteers, plant ops, supply chains, etc.). They will accurately staff nursing units with appropriate personnel; forecasts staffing needs on a shift by shift basis as dictated by the census. Receive hospital report from off-going supervisor; provides report to oncoming supervisor of unit/staffing/hospital activities; maintains accurate records of staff that have been called and recalled to fill staff needs; makes calls in a timely manner and is proactive e when assessing staffing needs.
