COOK (Full-time)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Preparation and setting up steam table for each meal.
2. Maintains a clean and safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
3. Takes temperatures of food served on the line and documents on temperature charts.
4. Communicates with lead cook or supervisor on items that need to be ordered.
5. Fills in for lead cooks when they are out.
6. Prepares food per specifications as set by production chart by using recipe book.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Must read, write and be able to follow oral directions in English. Ability to work early mornings, evenings and weekends. Emotional stability necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.

EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: N/A

EXPERIENCE: One-year experience in food service.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

* Requires standing approximately 8 hours a day.

* Requires full range of motion and repetitive use of hands.

* Hearing and vision sufficient to perform essential functions.
