Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Senior Clinical Analyst - Quality Assurance will play a critical role in advancing patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for analyzing healthcare data, monitoring quality indicators, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze clinical and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain quality dashboards and reports for hospital leadership.
  • Support hospital accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to standards such as The Joint Commission (TJC), CMS, and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to develop evidence-based protocols and performance improvement projects.
  • Lead root cause analyses and provide insights to enhance patient safety programs.
  • Utilize statistical tools and data visualization techniques to present findings effectively.
  • Assist with the integration of quality improvement methodologies, including Lean and Six Sigma, into hospital processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical quality, data analysis, or performance improvement in a healthcare setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic, SQL, Tableau, Excel, and statistical analysis tools preferred.
  • Certifications: CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Competencies: Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
