Gulfport Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility): Gulfport Behavioral Health System, is a 90-bed psychiatric hospital offering child, adolescent, adult and military service behavioral health programs and treatment services. This candidate will be the Executive Assistant to CEO, CFO, Executive Medical Director, and other Leadership staff to provide clerical support, and to oversee specific administrative and compliance activities impacting hospital services, including Medical Staff Credentialing, medical contract and contract staff files, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School diploma or equivalent, some college preferred. Experience: Five years' experience as executive secretary/administrative assistant/medical staff coordinator preferred. Experience in the healthcare field. The following are the job requirements for the Excutive Assistant/Medical Staff Coordinator. SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Computer skills, experience with Microsoft Word, Windows, Access, Excel and Powerpoint. Able to create forms and maintain data bases. Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm. Effective oral and written communication skills in the English language. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, work independently and productively with minimum supervision. Knowledge and understanding of licensing and accreditation standards. Detail-oriented and able to multi-task and prioritize. Flexible, team-oriented, and customer-service oriented. Able to work with little supervision. EDUCATION: High school graduate, 2 years college preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Driver's License or State issued Id. Experience: Five years' experience as executive secretary/administrative assistant/medical staff coordinator preferred. Experience in the healthcare field. PHYSICAL/GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: 50% of time or more is sitting. Occasionally lifts up to 25 pounds from ground to waist.
