Talent Coordinator

Location: Hybrid remote within service area state locations

(DE, MD, PA, VA, OH, NC, GA or FL)

What you'll be working on:



  • Leads the process of scheduling interviews with candidates and hiring managers by reviewing availability and setting up Teams meetings for all involved. Initiates job offer letters utilizing HRIS platform.
  • Initiates, monitors, confirms and communicates results to the recruitment team of background checks for applicants. Initiates and completes all steps of the electronic onboarding process for all new hires, post offer. Collaborates with candidate and Drug & Alcohol Compliance Coordinator to initiate drug screens, monitors results, and communicates outcomes to Recruitment team.
  • Communicates with all hiring managers on equipment needed for new hires, opens all KACE tickets to start the credentialing process and equipment ordering for new hires and contractors.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for all new hires and hiring managers related to the Onboarding process by answering questions and/or clarifying processes.
  • Manages all aspects of the Connectors Program including communication with new hires about the program, assigning Connectors to new hires and maintaining documentation on the program participants and assignments.
  • Facilitates new hire orientation weekly for all new hires. Updates materials in slide deck as needed. Coordinates with guest speakers to join new hire orientation for specific presentations.
  • Creates and publishes weekly Career Bulletin highlighting all job openings for internal employees to view and apply.
  • Creates New Hire bulletins to be shared with Strategic Communications to publish internally to introduce each new employee and share their photo and new role.
  • Ensures compliance with all company policies and legal requirements related to hiring procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by leaders of the Talent Team.
  • Assists HR Coordinator with other administrative duties, such as processing of invoices and may serve as a back-up to HR Coordinator.
  • May be called upon for special project assignments as needed.


Who you are:



  • High school or GED equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of related human resources experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably UKG/UltiPro in the Recruitment Gateway and Onboarding Gateway as well as Sterling or First Advantage background vendor.
  • Experience in supporting large-scale recruitment efforts or high-volume hiring preferred.
  • Familiarity with employer branding initiatives.
  • Working knowledge of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
  • Understanding of recruitment processes related to proper hiring procedures.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruitment compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to details.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful, environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of the organization
