Roche Global Product Development is seeking a Site Alliance Manager to join the Advancing Inclusive Research (AIR) Site Alliance team. This role is pivotal in furthering Roche/Genentech's (Roche/GNE) commitment to inclusive clinical research through the AIR Site Alliance initiative.

The Site Alliance Manager will lead impactful collaborations with clinical trial sites to ensure equitable patient access and site excellence through the successful implementation of inclusive research strategies. As a strategic partner to physician investigators, research site leadership, and internal Roche/GNE stakeholders, the Site Alliance Manager will strengthen site relationships, optimize operational performance, and integrate inclusive research principles across global clinical development programs. This role necessitates fostering trusted partnerships, navigating complex research ecosystems, and aligning site engagement with Roche's broader therapeutic area (TA) strategies. Formulate and implement a research site strategy that aligns with AIR alliance objectives. This position resides within Health Equity & Population Science (HE&PS) and requires extensive collaboration across Roche/GNE clinical operations, medical affairs, early research and development, and global product development teams.

The Opportunity:

  • You will lead and align high-impact research site strategies with AIR alliance objectives, identifying high-potential sites.

  • You will create scalable models to optimize site readiness, build capabilities, and ensure long-term commitment to health equity.

  • You will establish and nurture executive-level relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor for inclusive research.

  • You will champion inclusive research by advocating for policies that enhance site performance, patient access, and community trust.

  • You will lead the development of industry frameworks to address patient participation barriers and drive thought leadership on health equity.

  • You will oversee performance management using data analytics to assess and improve site recruitment and engagement models.

  • You will act as the primary liaison between AIR sites and internal teams, ensuring site needs are integrated into corporate strategies.

Who you are

  • You hold at least a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or a related field, with a preference for an advanced degree.

  • You possess 12+ years of leadership experience in clinical development, strategic partnerships, and research site operations within the biopharma industry.

  • You have a proven track record of leading large-scale, high-impact research collaborations, especially in advancing health equity and patient inclusion.

  • You engage effectively with stakeholders at the executive level.

  • You demonstrate the ability to influence without authority in complex, matrixed environments.

  • You exhibit strong thought leadership in inclusive research, engaging in industry consortia and public-private partnerships.

  • You possess deep knowledge of clinical operations, regulatory frameworks, patient recruitment challenges, financial acumen, and strategic resource allocation experience.

Travel Requirements

  • Domestic Business travel required (approximately 25% of time) by air or car for onsite visits or meetings.

Relocation benefits not eligible for this position

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is between $156,500 and $290,700. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
