Maintenance Manager

Create and manage maintenance programs to keep everything running smoothly.

Develop and implement procedures to control maintenance costs and report on repairs.

Oversee the repair and upkeep of all mechanical and electrical devices, aiming to reduce downtime and costs.

Implement effective programs to cut maintenance expenses and minimize conveyor system downtime.

Coordinate safety and OSHA policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Identify cost-saving opportunities while boosting facility productivity.

Lead the maintenance and housekeeping teams to keep the facility in top shape.

Manage building maintenance, including Fire Protection Systems and outdoor facilities.

What You'll Do:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems, facility equipment, and forklift fleet.

• Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.

• Oversee facility improvements, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide financial planning, cost justification, and business case analysis for maintenance expenses.

• Maintain safety records, coordinate safety audits, and enforce safety procedures and training.

• Ensure proper functioning of building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and equipment (e.g., lift trucks, conveyors).

• Supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to daily directives.

• Communicate with other maintenance managers to standardize procedures and implement best practices.

• Assimilate and analyze research data to recommend actions. Coach others to develop their skills.

• Resolve conflicts productively.

• Transport up to 50 lbs.

• Clearly express ideas and convey information.

• Facilitate group interactions.

• Identify risks and develop action plans.

• Interact effectively with all management levels.

• Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies and business community.

• Set and achieve high performance goals for self and others.
