Test Engineer Arlington, VA (Remote) Pay From: $42.00 per hour MUST: Experienced Test Engineer DHS HQ EOD required to start; must be able to obtain DHS HQ Final Suitability 4+ years of testing experience Bachelors required or an additional 4 yrs of related experience Experience with cucumber or similar test automation framework Experience with SQL and working in Linux Experience with testing Java Web Services / Spring Boot / Java EE Experience with Oracle DB / PostgreSQL DB / MySQL Experience in Jira to support configuration management in an Agile environment DUTIES: Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Write and execute test, plans, scenarios and test cases using JIRA application Ability to automate test cases Provide support and technical advice throughout Agile sprint cycles Validate enhancements to existing system in addition to coordinating with other QA and tester personnel Experience with scrum/agile project lifecycle approach to software development Able to work closely work with counterparts in a cross-functional, Agile team setting, to understand product needs and implement the right tests Understands the importance of data as to analyze reported issues, inform severity of defects, inform the priority of tests *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
