CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Coordinate, plan, direct and monitor daily data processing activities that provide key management information/reports within Supply Chain Operations
- Maintains the integrity of the Global Supply Chain Reporting (GSCR) information applications and databases. Ensures the continuity between published GSCR numbers and similarly published data by other departments.
- Develop common information analytical tools using SW systems and software including but not limited to Tableau, Business Objects, OBIEE, Access, and Excel.
- Ensures the accuracy and clarity of all information published or provided by GSCR.
- Provides support for all global business units for consolidated service metrics.
- Performs calculations using operational data to set service goal metrics and reviews with executive management for publication.
- Comprehends, reviews, and modifies current system designs to take maximum advantage of existing equipment, software, and resources.
- Develops and writes reporting scripts to support the overall business requirements as well as specific Global Supply Chain customer needs.
- Ensures the timely and accurate publication of Daily Supply Chain reports.
- Consolidate, standardize, and integrate Tableau, Business Objects and OBIEE reporting.
- Retain a customer focus by validating customers reporting requirement to remain relevant, accurate, and timely.
- Develops, edits, and maintains operating procedures and standards manual.
- Reviews nightly system processing activities and coordinates the resolution of problems that impact production.
- Supports the ongoing application activities that require specialized system knowledge and expertise.
- Responds to users requests for information and assists in problem resolution.
- Performs the necessary investigation, analysis, and evaluation to determine potential project feasibility.
- Coordinate and monitor the transfer of data files between reporting applications.
- Supervise team of analysts to maintain and develop the infrastructure and foundation for Global Supply Chain Reporting
- Responsible for managing/hiring/developing/motivating staff and team building while consistently challenging performance contribution and organizational structures.
- Makes recommendations and decisions, as needed, to maximize customer satisfaction and expedite internal processing.
- Recognize and identify potential areas where current policies and procedures require changes and/or where new ones need to be developed.
- Directs, motivates, empowers staff in the successful performance of their tasks and responsibilities while encouraging innovation.
- Global Supply Chain Reporting provides the infrastructure and foundation for driving business results, accelerated execution, and change leadership. It has a direct impact on the entire Supply Chain including manufacturing, distribution, customer service, product planning, forecasting, DRP, product availability, inventory level, and customer sales.
- Promotes accelerated execution through management of the Transaction Lean initiative.
- Monitors statistical reports to identify trends and/or patterns that could lead to improved group performance.
- Initiate and facilitate special projects designed to meet specific needs and/or ensure data integrity.
- Ensures that operational reporting deadlines are adhered to and ensures the ongoing availability of the Division's key reporting applications.
- The position will plan, organize, and conduct detailed analytical studies to define informational problems, identify deficiencies, and make improvements which impact the department's effectiveness and provides the basis for management decisions.

- FORMAL EDUCATION:
- BS/BA - Business or related field
Preferred:
- KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Required:
- 3+ years supply chain or operational experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to create and make presentations
- Understanding of operational areas and data elements impacting the total supply chain operations.
- Transactional Lean and/or Continuous Improvement training
- Preferred:
- Six Sigma Green Belt certified
- Supervisory experience
- TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
