You will have core accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced and innovative information service company. You have a good understanding of accounting principles and will ensure the integrity of the financial data. A team player at heart, you will collaborate with other team members, and you will tap into your problem-solving skills to improve processes.

What you will do:

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statements and ensure all deadlines are met under a tight month-end close schedule.

  • Develop and maintain internal and external reports and queries in the system and verify and analyze reports for accuracy and completeness.

  • Analyze large quantities of complex data, leveraging Excel skills to research and draw conclusions from financial data.

  • Maintain accrual process for various business units, including reviewing the completeness and accuracy of accruals.

  • Partner with Financial Analyst on various projects and work with other departments to ensure proper accounting for new or unique transactions.

  • Comply with financial reporting requirements including census survey and support internal and external audits.

  • Participate in special projects and perform duties as assigned.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience CPA desirable.

  • 2 years' experience in corporate or public accounting environment.

  • Demonstrated experience of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • SAP experience preferred.
