Job Summary

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies or procedures for possible implementation.

The Program Manager will lead and manage project planning, development and implementation,
communication with stakeholders and data coordination and flow within UCSF and with external
partners. Design of study instruments, protocols, trainings and data management systems. They
will manage Institutional Review Board approvals and submissions. They will work with the PI in
assessing needs, setting project goals, tracking progress and designing workplans, presentations
and reports to make sure deliverables are met. They will be the primary point person for synthesis
and dissemination of research findings. The program manager will also manage the hiring,
onboarding and supervision of the Clinical Research Coordinators associated with the relevant
projects.
Brain Walk, BRIDGE Depression Project, BRIDGE other studies, and GNE Neurobiorepository are research studies that aim to collect longitudinal clinical and research data from participants across all Weill clinics as well as improve visualization of this data to provide greater insights into various disease processes.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $116,700 (Annual Rate).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience
• Knowledge of common organization- or research-specific and other computer application programs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain all confidentiality.
• Analytical / problem-solving skills.
• Strong skills in analyzing, researching and synthesizing large amounts of data for preparing sound and relevant proposals / analyses.
• Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
• Strong policy analysis techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Experience in Neurology
• Masters degree in Health related fields
• Prior project management experience
