Opportunity Overview: Principal Project Controls Specialist - 6-12 Month Contract Role - Remote - US citizenship required

The Principal Project Controls Specialist isan experienced analyst/customer service-oriented role that will function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) to address the set-up and maintenance of master data within SAP and with the administrative activities needed to ensure appropriate personnel assignments and contract details for payroll processing and invoice creation.

What your day-to-day looks like:




  • Perform Bid to Bank related functionality, including the access and review of Sales Orders and Releases, creation and management of Project Systems.
  • Creation and release ofNetwork Activities and Job Codes for value contracts.
  • Monitor and resolve CATS payroll errors
  • Provide score card and load board creation and support for MMC sites
  • Facilitate cross charge and reverse cross charge
  • Invoicing reconciliation and support
  • Exposure to labor relations and union contracts (dues, deductions, fringe benefits, base wage factors, shift premiums, grievance pay)
  • Performing Root cause analysis / problem solving
  • Troubleshooting and resolving EP1 systems and process issues according to SLAs and business requirements.
  • Team support - foster a collaborative environment by being approachable, supportive, and willing to share knowledge and resources which include mentoring and peer checking T1 resources as needed.



What we need to see from you:




  • B.A, B.S or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of working experience
  • Understanding of the SAP Bid to Bank workflow. workflow (i.e. CRM, contract setup elements, cost accumulation, reconciliation, invoicing)
  • Background in data management
  • Experience working in a support organization (shared services, help desk, triage, ticketing)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to show initiative, good judgment and resourcefulness
  • Detail oriented with a problem-solving mindset and ability to meet deadlines and be results oriented
  • Desire to produce accurate, high-quality work with attention to details
  • Flexibility and adaptability to adjust to changing project needs in evolving situations
  • Proficient in SAP, PHX, Alight, D365, ADP Inquiry, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, ServiceNow, etc.
