We are searching for an EXPERIENCED Resource Nurse for the Emergency Dept. (Minimum of three years of ED experience is required)

Location: St. Luke's Hospital - New Bedford, MA

Hours: 36hrs

Shift: EVE/NIGHT, 3:00pm - 3:00am with weekend and holiday rotation

Looking for:

    Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Emergency is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

**Available to regular status employees who are scheduled to work a minimum of 20 hours.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.



Responsibilities

Under direction of Director, Manager, Patient Care or Designee perform a variety of duties involving the coordination of both clinical and non-clinical care activities including but not limited to staff assignments, staffing levels, etc. Provide guidance, support and coordinate orientation of all new staff members.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of three years clinical experience in an appropriate setting, i.e. Medical Surgical, Critical/Coronary Care, etc. is required.
  • Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired


Pay Range

USD $44.07 - USD $76.72 /Hr.
