HDR's Phoenix office is seeking a Human Resources Representative, people are at the forefront of everything we do and our most important asset, in this position you support in creating HDR's employee experience a great one!
In the role of Human Resources Representative, we'll count on you to:
- Provide support for the completion of Human Resources duties and responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Human Resources as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, HRIS entry, and drafting and sending emails and notices within and outside of Human Resources
- Provide support with the compilation and analysis of a variety of Human Resources information and data
- Support recruitment efforts to include posting requisitions, attending university career fairs and assisting with interview scheduling and coordination
- Assist with answering employee requests and questions relative to standard policies, procedures, benefits, hiring, etc.
- Assist with facilitation of new hire orientation to include completion of new hire paperwork, verification of I-9 documentation and conducting office tours
- Assist with offboarding and processing of terminations
- Create social media posts to assist with sharing promotional materials related to promotions, new hires and other office related activities
- Assists with the preparation of the performance review process
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
- Assist with running reports & special projects
- Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources or similar
- Local candidates preferred
- Passion for enhancing the employee experience
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, PowerPoint, Word and Excel or similar programs
- Basic understanding of business activities
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
