The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women's and 10 men's programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation's premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as "The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.
Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Sports Nutrition Operations Assistant for the Athletics Physician department.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:

  • Assists with the oversite of item stock levels for nutrition fueling stations, weight room, players lounge, and 3rd floor as well as product ordering.
  • Makes Vitamin Bags including, Vit D, Vit C, Fish Oil, Multivitamins, sick bags and concussion bags.
  • Manages Smoothie Station by managing daily preparation and delivery of customized post-workout/training table smoothies for athletes.
  • Maintains facility upkeep and appearance through constant surveillance of all nutrition department related activities and fueling areas.
  • Assists in office/clerical work.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant experience.
Certifications/Licenses
  • A valid driver's license would be required for this position; Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands.
