JOB SUMMARY: MCSG is seeking a Project Administrator to provide administrative and logistical support for the 392d Combat Training Squadron's (392 CTS) US Space Force (USSF) exercise team at Schriever SFB, CO. 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercises prepare Guardians to execute operations in a realistic threat-based combat environment. The Project Administrator position requires a mix of project management and administrative expertise to coordinate planning conferences, schedule events, and prepare event-related materials. The ideal candidate excels at managing multiple stakeholders (e.g., facility managers, protocol teams, and public affairs representatives) to ensure seamless execution of USSF exercise planning meetings and exercise execution activities. This position is at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, and requires on-site support. Location: Schriever SFB, CO.

PRIMARY DUTIES:



  • Ensures the messaging of 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercise results is consistent with USSF and STARCOM guidance across multiple documents, forums, and platforms.
  • Writes, edits, reviews, and publishes 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercise documentation using established Government and contractor procedures.
  • Coordinates and schedules 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercise planning conferences and associated logistics.
  • Identifies gaps and shortfalls in 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercise communication processes and procedures and proposes solutions to overcome identified deficiencies.
  • Coordinates support from protocol, public affairs, facility managers, etc., for 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercises.
  • Develops, updates, and maintains 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercise SharePoint sites across multiple platforms.
  • Organize and archive records for easy reference and future use.
  • Prepares event-related documents (e.g., trip reports, exercise planning and execution products, after-action reports, lessons learned, meeting minutes) according to contract deliverable timelines.
  • Supports 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercise planning conferences, coordination meetings, etc.
  • Captures, analyzes, and reports observations and lessons learned identified during the design, planning, and execution of 392 CTS-sponsored USSF exercises.
  • Supports hot wash debriefs and after action report content development after each 392 CTS-sponsored USSF.
  • Carry out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success.



REQUIREMENTS:




  • Experience working as an administrative or executive assistant within a military organization.
  • Experience writing and/or editing official documents.
  • Experience planning large conferences or events.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of USSF space operations.
  • This position requires limited travel (less than 4 weeks/year).



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience in publication processes and editorial standards.
  • Experience using various style guides (e.g., The Tongue and Quill, The Chicago Manual of Style) to develop executive-level USSF documents.
  • Experience as a SharePoint administrator.
  • Familiarity of USSF command structure, missions, programs, and organizational relationships



RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 7 years of experience working in or for DoD organizations.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI clearance
