JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) at Penn State seeks to create opportunities for and enhance the participation of all students in STEM-related research and enterprise operations career fields. This program enhances the awareness, readiness, fellowship, mentorship, and sponsorship for successful and significant careers in national security. The 10-week (May to Aug) program is a paid internship, with competitive pay rates determined by the position and total number of credits completed to date. Interns work up to 40 hours per week over the summer. Between thirty to forty internships may be offered. Internship opportunities are available at these locations:

Candidates selected may be subject to a government security investigation. Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
