Overview

As a Project Assistant, you will answer incoming calls, respond to emails, and make outbound calls to customers that have expressed interest in participating in energy efficiency programs. Your knowledge and understanding of program opportunities and benefits to participation will increase customer participation and lead to an increase in scheduling appointments with contractors. Your ability to engage the customer in both verbal and written formats increases customer satisfaction. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks permit you to control the pace and flow of customer inquiries and requests. Finally, your desire to contribute to the customer experience means you use your active listening skills to empathize with the customer and create a professional and courteous experience for all.


Responsibilities

Along with our team of project managers and technical experts, the successful applicant will play a key role in implementing energy efficiency programs. Duties may include:

  • Tracking program participation status
  • Initiating contact with program participants via phone and email to qualify their participation
  • Data entry, review and processing of incentive applications including research/resolution of problem applications, and outreach to the customer for required information, as needed.
  • Managing program documentation and maintaining CRM database
  • Coordinating and supporting team meetings, preparing agendas, minutes, et
  • Providing project tracking, reporting, and invoicing support, tracking program participation status, and other administrative duties

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years related experience.
  • Academic and / or professional experience displaying a strong interest in sustainability, green building or energy efficiency is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiencies in Microsoft Office and internet searches. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work with Excel workbooks and to create and upload documents and files.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and top-notch customer service skills.
  • Detail orientated and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently as well as effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work with minimal direction.
  • Flexible, attentive and responsive to changing operational procedures and customer needs.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Superior troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and use creative problem-solving skills to make recommendations.
  • Ability to work with culturally diverse customers and contractors effectively and respectfully.

Competitive applicants will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in energy efficiency and/or utility sector.
  • Previous experience with CRM and scheduling software.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking experience is a plus.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
