Summary: Th Project Manager Health AI Initiatives position is a 12-Month contract role and is responsible for leading the coordination and execution of Yale New Haven Health System's (YNHHS) Innovative Health AI competition and the overall management, planning and organization of the annual AI summit. This role will play a pivotal part in advancing the Center for Health Care Innovation mission by fostering innovation, collaboration, and awareness within YNHHS and the broader academic and public communities
About The Center for Health Care Innovation The Center for Health Care Innovation is a leading Innovation Works at Yale New Haven Health System within the department of Business Development & Strategic Projects. Founded in 2019 as a joint initiative between the health system and Yale University, the Center is focused on building a culture of innovation at our health system while also making a dynamic contribution to the broader New Haven ecosystem. On a day-to-day basis we build infrastructure and awareness of innovation resources throughout the health system. We also identify, invest in and pilot health innovations that solve real problems and pain points for patients, providers and the health system. In 2024 our Center will implement an innovation awards program that will provide much needed early-stage funding to accelerate and scale the most promising ideas in our ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- 1. Responsible oversight of the Health AI Competition:
- 1.1. Design, plan, and oversee a multi-hospital AI competition open to employees, entrepreneurs, and faculty.
- 1.2. Develop competition guidelines, criteria, and evaluation metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
- 1.3. Coordinate the judging panel and ensure transparency and fairness in the evaluation process
- 1.4. Organize and execute an awards ceremony to recognize the medal winners (1 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze).

- 2. Responsible for the coordination and execution of Center for Healthcare Innovation events including the year-end AI Summit:
- 2.1. Plan and execute a high-impact AI summit aimed at engaging the public, academic community, and healthcare professionals.
- 2.2. Coordinate keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions, ensuring diverse and high-quality content.
- 2.3. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote the event and maximize attendance.
- 2.4. Manage event logistics, including venue booking, technology setup, and participant registration.

- 3. Stakeholder Management:
- 3.1. Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leaders within the organization and partner hospitals.
- 3.2. Facilitate collaboration and achieve results among diverse stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- 3.3. Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the success and visibility of the initiatives.

- 4. Project Management:
- 4.1. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for both initiatives.
- 4.2. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives and deadlines.
- 4.3. Ensure effective stakeholder communication and collaboration across multiple departments and institutions.
- 4.4. Prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications
EDUCATION Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Healthcare, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. EXPERIENCE Minimum of five (5) years of experience in high level project management, preferably in healthcare or technology sectors. LICENSURE NA SPECIAL SKILLS Proven experience organizing large-scale events and/or competitions. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management, especially with senior leaders across multiple institutions. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Familiarity with AI and its applications in healthcare is a plus. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate ideas into actionable plans. Adept at managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage diverse stakeholder groups and drive consensus. Commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and excellence. PHYSICAL DEMAND Employment Type: Fixed Contract (12 months) Location: Hybrid, Candidate required to travel to New Haven on weekly basis
