The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess: High School Diploma or equivalent Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Familiarity with accounting software packages Ability to go onsite daily (M-F); Pay Range: $20 - $25/hr What You'll Be Doing: Ensuring accurate data entry, managing mail processing, preparing tax documents, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Data Entry: Accurately enter tax-related data into the company's systems. Document Preparation: Assist in preparing tax returns, sales tax returns, and other tax documents. Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and accurate records of all tax-related documents. Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Client Support: Assist clients with tax-related inquiries and documentation. Research: Conduct research on tax regulations and provide information to support tax preparation. Accounting Queries: Use accounting software to query transactions, invoices, payments, vendors, etc. What You Need to Bring to the Table: High School Diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail Excellent organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with accounting software packages Bonus Points!
