Job Summary:
As a member of the School of Veterinary Medicine's Communications Team, the Communications Specialist supports both the strategic and tactical needs of the communications team and school. Responsibilities: Develops and drafts communication content and assists in the execution of the communications strategy in support of unit communication goals.

Education: Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations and/or web, social & digital media required. Great storytelling and project management skills required, along with demonstrated ability to learn new technology tools and platforms. Familiarity with the veterinary medical and/or clinical and foundational science fields and/or higher education is also strongly preferred. Photography, photo editing and some basic graphic design experience is preferred.
