The VP, Product Management, provides product leadership working with customers, users, stakeholders, technology and content development teams. This role provides broad, hands-on leadership with the strategy, design, development, and rollout of Relias' solution workflows. This role reports directly to the head of the Product Management organization (Chief Product Officer).
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Lead product management efforts across the Relias portfolio of products, including:
* Driving overall product strategy, product roadmap and execution for our solution workflows.
* Manage a team that is responsible for ongoing research of emerging trends, competitor movement and adjacent industry influences to identify opportunities for solution workflows in the healthcare provider market.
* Prioritizing opportunities based on market-driven problems and maintaining a strategic narrative to keep executives and key stakeholders informed.
* Using data from internal and external sources to assess the market viability of new solution offerings.
* Owning the product backlog and processes for roadmap prioritization, assembling product OKRs, and partnering with the Technology and Content Development teams to execute software development milestones and overall execution.
* Being the customer advocate within the team; understanding deeply how customers get value from their solutions through instrumentation and direct feedback. Working closely with stakeholders and customers to prioritize new product development and address customer challenges.
* Leading on- and offshore development teams to build cutting edge software solutions.
* Managing beta deployments and working closely with customers and stakeholders to get early feedback and input.
* Collaborating with stakeholders to articulate the value proposition and differentiators for our solutions. Supporting go-to-market (GTM) strategies led by Marketing and tied to solution development. Collaborating with executive leadership, Marketing, Sales, Support, Client Care, and other teams to ensure all priorities are understood and considered.
* Partnering with the Client Success and Marketing teams to understand product adoption and success via KPIs, ensuring the customer viewpoint is understood.
* Manages and is accountable for the financial performance of Relias solutions; including co-developing the revenue and profitability targets, and tracking to forecast
* Coaching and providing constructive feedback via Relias performance management processes (i.e., 1:1s, quarterly reviews) to PM team members to enable them to professionally grow, do their best work, be held accountable to goals and deadlines, and proactively communicate well with the rest of the PM and broader Relias team.
* Looking for opportunities to professionally develop the PM team members internally as well as externally.
* Support M&A product due diligence processes for potential acquisitions, and support integration efforts of the relevant people and operations of the acquired entities and business segments.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Strong presentation skills with ability to educate and inspire small groups as well as large conferences and online audiences.

* Exceptional communication, prioritization, collaboration and time management skills.
* A strong understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies
* 15+ years of proven experience rapidly building and scaling product management teams.
* 10+ years in a leadership position.
* Experience working with SaaS technologies.
* Experience working cross-functionally, especially with marketing disciplines and sales initiatives.
* Bachelor's degree, or, in lieu of a degree, a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of professional work experience in the product management field.
IT WOULD BE IDEAL IF YOU HAVE:
* Healthcare experience
* Specific domain knowledge of healthcare technologies (e.g., HCM, GRC, Quality)

IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30/40 days/quarter.
